Lauren Sánchez’s older brother Paul is “thrilled beyond belief” to see his sister, 55, get married in what he’s already predicting will be like Princess Diana’s “wedding of the century.”

“I think it’s going to be like a Princess Di- thing,” Paul told TMZ on Thursday, explaining that he predicts the event will be “huge and fun.”

While he admitted that he didn’t know the exact location of the ceremony, Paul doubled down on his expectation that the big wedding will be “an amazing event.”

He also added that the couple will be asking guests to “make a donation” to their favorite charity in lieu of wedding gifts.

A local report, which was shared by the Daily Mail on Tuesday, shared some of the pair’s Italian wedding plans, claiming the event “will take place aboard their $500 million megayacht, Koru, anchored in the Venetian Lagoon.”

Koru, which is allegedly capable of fitting 18 people in nine cabins, is considered the largest masted yacht ever built, measuring more than 415 feet in length.

However, another source described by the outlet as a “perfectly placed friend” promises that “the wedding is not on the boat” due to Venice’s regulations that would obstruct the party from taking place in the more beautiful parts of the romantic city.

A local outlet claimed the couple’s Italian wedding plans will partially take place on their massive yacht, Koru.

However, another source promises that the wedding ceremony will not be taking place on the boat due to Venice’s regulations.FilmMagic
The outlet also noted that two of the city’s finest and popular hotels, the Gritti Palace and Aman Venice, are completely booked from June 26 to June 29.

Both hotels’ rooms are reportedly priced starting at $3,200 a night and those prices can skyrocket to nearly ten times that amount, depending on the suite and the season.

“In preparation for the event, Venice is bracing for the arrival of VIPs. The city’s top luxury hotels have already been booked, and reports say the entire fleet of water taxis will be made available to shuttle guests across the canals. The logistics point to a highly exclusive, tightly coordinated celebration,” a local news site reported, per the Daily Mail.

The Amazon founder’s, 61, nuptials will almost certainly be a high-profile event as the couple has sent out invites to some of Hollywood’s biggest names.

As we previously reported this week, those who received invitations include media personalities Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King, as well as actors Leonardo DiCaprio, Eva Longoria, and Orlando Bloom, who scored an invite with his fiancée, pop star Katy Perry.

Singers Barbra Streisand and Jewel were also asked to attend along with the couple’s famous friends Kim Kardashian and her mom, Kris Jenner.
