Though the star, 27, rarely ever wears the sparkler that fiancé Jonathan Davino proposed with in 2022, the decision may have been more pointed as new reports reveal the couple called off their wedding and are working on their “rocky” relationship.

The post marks the second time this week that Sweeney has channeled her inner mermaid.

On Thursday, the “Anyone But You” actress enjoyed a dip, wearing a white lace bikini top and thong bottom by Fae x Revolve, sharing footage of her pool time captured by Asaly on Instagram.

She captioned the photos and video of herself floating beneath the water’s surface in the denim-trimmed two-piece with a single wave emoji.

An insider told Us Weekly that Sweeney and Davino, 41, are still together for now.

“Sydney and Jonathan have been having major issues but are not fully split,” the insider said.“Things are not great right now, but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now.”

The couple, who have been dating since 2018, were reportedly meant to tie the knot this spring.
